Croatian Hub for Regenerative Agriculture organized a seminar titled "ECO Innovations for Small Production Areas" through the LIFE for Mauremys project at the House of Honey and Traditional Products in Majkovi.
The LIFE for Mauremys project has reached the halfway point of its planned duration, and partners gathered for a consortium meeting held from October 21 to 23, 2024, at the Dubrovnik-Neretva County.

May 23, World Turtle Day, is just around the corner. The LIFE for Mauremys project dedicates this day to educational and promotional activities centered around two main events.
Activities aimed at the restoration of habitats and addressing threats to the Croatian population of the Balkan Terrapin are in full swing.
On February 29, 2024, we participated in a networking meeting of Croatian beneficiaries of LIFE SAP projects - "Results and Effects of LIFE Projects in Croatia," organized by the National Contact Point for the LIFE Program.
In November, partners held a collaborative workshop on sustainable fishing practices in the Balkan Terrapin habitats.
Gravid Balkan Terrapins females, collected during field research in June from Dubrovnik-Neretva County, were carefully transported to the Zagreb Zoological Garden.
One year from the beginning of the project, on October 2nd, 2023, partners gathered at the Entrepreneurship Centre of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County for the third live meeting.
